1 Cool Button Tool - Java allows you to create any number of button styles and behaviors. Button attributes include color, depth, transparency, text color, border color, AU and WAV sound, GIF and JPEG bitmaps, and drag-and-drop buttons. Arrange your buttons in a WYSIWYG window, and press Build Java; 1 Cool Button Tool generates all the Java and HTML code for you.

Version 6 adds new QuickStart Wizard.

  Easy to use, poor quality in browser

  Pros: very easy to use. reasonably priced. allows importing buttons made in other programs.

  Cons: Menu looks good in preview mode but poor quality of text when tested in browser. Poor selection of built in buttons. Poor support. Not yet ready for professional web design.

  Poor show from the latest version.

  Pros: Easy to use, not bad results with a little effort.

  Cons: Where to begin? I used version 4 a while ago and found it good enough to buy. I decided after some time away to download and try version 6. The program crashes constantly at totally random intervals. Try anything really complex and it slows down to a crawl again before crashing. Input fields become screwy once you get above 10 or so button commands, to the point where you can't even type in new commands because the cursor keeps jumping back to the start of the input box after every key stroke. Very poor update and defiantly not worth buying.
