Get the scoop on the latest Frankfurt show at CNET's new-and-improved Car Tech blog.

The Frankfurt Auto Show (officially the International Motor Show, or IAA, for Internationaler Automobil-Ausstellungen) is Europe's largest car show, and like a rare celestial event, it happens only once every two years. This year's show, the 61st, features approximately 1,000 companies, from parts manufacturers such as Bosch and Alpine to well-known carmakers such as Audi, BMW, and Mazda. We traveled to Frankfurt to see new model launches, concept cars, and full lineups on display. Read our blog entries, slide shows, and reports on new cars for the full Frankfurt experience.

When we got to hall 2, the Daimler-Chrysler hall, my German photographer informed me that he'd previously seen the Rolling Stones perform here. The bottom level had areas for Smart, Maybach, and the S-Class. Going up a curv... Read more
