It took 5 years and a wedding to convince my mother in law I wasnt an axe murderer when I met her daughter online and began dating.
So 1 in 5 teenage girls are solicited online?
Big deal.. been to high school lately?
There 1 in 1 teenage girls get solicited on a regular basis.
How about some perspective?
Like maybe including the little factoid that your more likely to be killed in a car wreck than meet someone dangerous online?
Every abduction that takes place due to online contact can be avoided, car accidents are another thing altogether. The only thing that this is doing is making sure people who lack saavy realize that online statements about age, etc, are not always true.
