Novell dishes up OpenSuse 10.3

The OpenSuse project, which is sponsored by Novell and Advanced Micro Devices, released its first stable Linux distribution in 2005. According to the project's leads, the latest version of the open-source operating system includes a "redesigned installer to simplify installation," improved sound management, and faster package management.
Also included in OpenSuse 11.0 are OpenOffice 2.4 and the Banshee multimedia player.
Claiming the new release "sets the bar for what a Linux distribution should be," community manager Joe "Zonker" Brockmeier said Thursday that OpenSuse 11.0 is an "exciting and ground-breaking release, perfect for Linux enthusiasts and developers, as well as users who are new to Linux."
The community's distributions form the basis of Novell's enterprise Linux products, and next year will see the release of Suse Linux Enterprise 11, based on OpenSuse 11.0.

you can install any of the above without internet, they include all the dependencies, just unzip the both files into a folder named MMP2008 and create a repository from that folder as a simple rpm folder in yast, then make a search in the yast installer with the name of the program and check it to install it, this is very important if you don`t have internet at home, and besides, by default Open Suse doesn`t include several codecs due to license matters.
