Remember the guy in high school who had the first moustache and drove a van? He's probably StrangeCloud's biggest fan. This young duo cranks out the Technicolor folk-pop of CSN and the Byrds, while retaining a soft Beach Boy edge. The dude with the van loves to feel the wind in his hair while StrangeCloud slowly opens his mind.
Biography
An acoustic-based, psychedelic pop duo, StrangeCloud formed in 1998 and has released 2 highly successful indie CDs. While earlier projects focused on the acoustic, alt country sound, the newer material is more pop and rock oriented. The new CD Psychedelectric Orange was released on May 4, 2004 and contains 11 new StrangeCloud songs, plus licensed versions of the Beatles "Things We Said Today," and Pink Floyds "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun."
